Dermaplaning in Mexico City
Visibly smoother, more radiant skin in a single session, painless and with no downtime.
What it is and how it works
dermaplaning is a physical exfoliation. With a sterile blade we remove, in a controlled way, the layer of dead cells on the surface and the very fine facial hair, the famous peach fuzz. By removing that layer, your skin is smoother and more radiant, makeup sits better and, above all, the actives you apply penetrate far more.
What it treats, in detail
- Radiance and skin that feels smoother to the touch.
- Uneven texture and dull skin.
- Removal of fine facial hair.
- Preparing the skin before a facial or a peel, to enhance them.
- Better makeup application and wear.
Who it’s for
almost anyone who wants an immediate result of smooth, radiant skin, especially before an event. It is safe on darker skin.
Who it’s not for
we do not do it if you have active inflammatory acne or pustules in the area, because it could spread them, or with lesions, infection, very inflamed rosacea or recent sunburn.
What to expect
- 01
it is a comfortable, painless session, and the result is immediate.
- 02
It can be repeated every 3 to 4 weeks, and we often combine it with a facial or a gentle peel.
- 03
There is no downtime; at most mild redness.
- 04
Sun care afterward.
Risks and what we tell you honestly
risks are minimal, some mild irritation. And honestly: it is exfoliation and glow, it does not treat wrinkles, laxity or deep spots. Its value is in the immediacy, in how smooth the skin feels, and in preparing the ground for other treatments.
Myth vs reality
Myth
“If I shave my face, the hair will grow back thicker and darker.”
Reality
it is a myth. Cutting hair does not change its thickness, its color or its growth rate; what happens is that as it grows it feels slightly coarser because the tip is blunt, but the hair is exactly the same.
