Natural Definition Liposculpture in Mexico City
We do not carve muscles into fat. We add volume to the muscle with your own fat, so the definition is real.
What it is and how it works
classic high-definition works by carving grooves into the superficial fat layer to draw the muscular contour. The problem is that the drawing sits on fat, not on muscle, and when overdone it looks artificial and ages poorly. We do the opposite: we remove fat where there should be flatness and shadow, and we also graft your own fat into the muscle, in the pectoralis, deltoid or other groups depending on your case, so the muscle gains real projection. That way the relief comes from your anatomy, not from a carved groove. The result looks like someone who trains.
What it treats, in detail
- Abdominal definition, with the midline and lateral lines naturally defined.
- Waist, flank and back contour.
- Pectoral and deltoid projection with fat grafting.
- Gluteal contour definition.
- Male chest contour correction, often combined with gynecomastia surgery.
How we do it here
our criterion is what sets us apart, and it is supported. In a series of 743 men operated over 16 years, classic high-definition was compared with a real-definition approach, and the latter achieved greater satisfaction, more natural and durable results, and fewer reinterventions. Over-etching increased unnatural contours and dissatisfaction. That is why we work with individual anatomical marking, following your anatomy rather than a template, with third-generation ultrasound emulsification to treat the superficial plane safely, and with muscular fat grafting to add volume where needed. We measure your body composition with InBody and record your shape with 3D scanning before and after.
Who it’s for
if you train, have developed musculature and localized fat concealing it, and want natural definition. Also if you have been training for a while and certain areas will not respond despite the effort.
Who it’s not for
if you have significant excess weight or your abdominal volume comes from visceral fat, because liposuction does not reach it and the abdomen will still protrude. Also not if there is no muscle mass underneath, because there would be nothing to reveal or project, or if your skin has lost elasticity.
What to expect
- 01
general anesthesia with a regional block to control pain, lasting 2 to 6 hours depending on the areas treated.
- 02
We recommend one night of hospitalization to monitor you and manage pain properly.
- 03
Drains are placed in all our body contouring surgeries.
- 04
You will wear compression garments for 3 months, with first- and second-stage garments from a specialized Brazilian brand, changing stages as swelling subsides.
- 05
Your recovery is not just waiting: it includes an intensive physiotherapy protocol with lymphatic drainage, device-assisted therapy and dermatofunctional physiotherapy, with two clear goals, modulating fibrosis and getting the most from your skin’s retraction without leaving sequelae.
- 06
Hyperbaric chamber sessions are added to that.
- 07
Exercise at 4 to 6 weeks.
- 08
Final contour appears between 3 and 6 months, when swelling subsides and the skin finishes retracting.
- 09
In this surgery physiotherapy matters even more, because superficial work generates more fibrosis, and we will ask you to avoid pressure on grafted areas during the first weeks.
Risks and what we tell you honestly
risks are those of liposuction, heightened by working the superficial plane: visible irregularities, poorly placed grooves, adhesions, fibrosis and asymmetry of the markings. From the graft: part of the fat resorbs, and there can be nodules or volume asymmetry. And something we want you to know: correcting an over-etched result is difficult, and sometimes requires grafting fat back to fill what was carved away. That is why we prefer to stay on the conservative side.
Beyond aesthetics
the benefit is body image and satisfaction, measured with validated instruments in published series. When gynecomastia is also present, the psychosocial impact is considerably greater, because it resolves something many men have hidden for years.
Myth vs reality
Myth
“The more defined, the better.”
Reality
no, and this is not our opinion. It is documented that over-sculpting produces unnatural contours, lower satisfaction and more reinterventions. If you come looking for the carved abdomen you see on social media, we will propose something else: real definition, which holds over time and does not announce that you had surgery.
