Laser Hair Removal in Mexico City
It is the only laser that combines three wavelengths at once, which makes it safe and effective on darker skin too.
What it is and how it works
hair removal lasers target the follicle’s pigment, heat it and damage it so it stops producing hair. Soprano Titanium emits three wavelengths at once: some reach the more superficial follicles and another, 1064 nanometers, penetrates deeper and is the safest on darker skin, because the skin’s melanin absorbs it less. It also works in continuous motion, heating gradually, with a tip that cools the skin while it fires. That is why it is one of the most comfortable and virtually painless.
What it treats, in detail
Permanent hair reduction in any area
Face, neck, underarms, bikini, arms, legs, back and chest.
- It is suitable for all skin tones, from lightest to darkest, and even on tanned skin.
Medical uses of the diode laser
Hirsutism, pseudofolliculitis barbae (those ingrown hairs that leave bumps and marks when shaving), and support in pilonidal sinus disease and hidradenitis suppurativa.
Who it’s for
practically anyone with dark hair who wants to stop shaving or waxing. It is especially valuable on darker skin, where other lasers carry more risk, and for those who suffer from ingrown hairs.
Who it’s not for
it does not work on white, gray or very light blond hair, simply because there is no pigment to absorb the light, and we tell you before you spend on sessions. We also do not treat with active infection or herpes in the area, tattoos in the treatment area, photosensitizing medications, or in pregnancy.
What to expect
- 01
6 to 8 sessions are needed, 4 to 8 weeks apart, because in each session only the hair in its growth phase responds.
- 02
We will ask you to shave the area beforehand and not to wax or tweeze between sessions, because we need the follicle intact.
- 03
The session is comfortable, with a sensation of warmth.
- 04
There is no downtime, only mild redness that settles within hours.
Risks and what we tell you honestly
effects are mild and passing. The correct term is permanent reduction, not total elimination: in the end you will have far less hair, finer and lighter, and you will probably need an occasional maintenance session. There is a rare but documented complication, paradoxical hair growth in border areas, which is why we mention it. On tanned skin we adjust settings or wait.
Myth vs reality
Myth
“With darker skin I cannot do laser hair removal, I will get burned or develop dark marks.”
Reality
with the wrong device, there is indeed a risk. But this laser includes a wavelength designed precisely for dark skin, and it is cleared for all phototypes, even tanned skin. What matters is the device and the settings used by whoever treats you.
