What it is
it is an imaging analysis that photographs and measures your skin with different types of light, including UV and polarized light, which reveal what is invisible to the naked eye. It gives us objective data on spots, pores, texture, wrinkles, UV spots (the sun damage stored in deep layers), redness and porphyrins, the bacteria inside the pore associated with acne.
And here is the most interesting part: your skin age. The system takes eight facial parameters, among them wrinkles, surface spots and UV damage, and compares them against a vast database of people in your same age group and skin type. From that comes a number: the age your skin has, not the one on your ID. For example, someone aged 35 with very well cared-for skin may have a skin age of 29, and vice versa. It is not a number to scare you, it is a clear reference to know where you stand, what to prioritize and, above all, to measure whether what you are doing is working.
