What it is and how it works

polynucleotides, known as “salmon DNA”, are highly purified DNA fragments obtained from salmon or trout. They act in two ways: they give your cells the building blocks they need to repair, and they activate a receptor that reduces inflammation, improves circulation and prompts fibroblasts to produce collagen. Purification removes the protein that causes fish allergy, so it is usually safe even if you are allergic, though in very allergic skin we assess it carefully.

What it treats, in detail

Who it’s for

anyone wanting to improve their skin quality and radiance naturally, and anyone who wants to recover faster after a more intense treatment.

Who it’s not for

we do not use it in pregnancy or breastfeeding, with active infection or lesion in the area, in autoimmune disease (with caution), or in severe fish allergy without assessing it first.

What to expect

  1. 01

it is done in a series, usually 2 to 3 sessions of microinjections, weeks apart, with maintenance.

  2. 02

Discomfort is low and downtime is minimal, only a mild reaction at the injection points.

Risks and what we tell you honestly

effects are mild and passing. And let us be clear: its strongest evidence is in recovery after procedures and in skin quality, not as a filler or volumizer. It is a good biorevitalization tool, communicated with restraint. At Aryx we have several technologies that overlap and are complementary; in your consultation we define which suits you best or whether combining them is better.

Myth vs reality

Myth

“Salmon DNA rejuvenates like magic, it is the fountain of youth.”

Reality

it is a good regenerator of skin quality and recovery, with real but moderate evidence, and studies are generally small. It is not magic and does not replace a filler, a laser or surgery when your case needs them.
