PRP Facial and Hair in Mexico City

It uses your own blood to regenerate, with nothing foreign to your body, and for hair it is one of the best-evidenced treatments for density.

What it is and how it works

we take a small sample of your blood and centrifuge it to concentrate the platelets, the cells that release growth factors, the signals your body uses to repair. We apply that concentrate to the skin or scalp, where it stimulates collagen, circulation and follicle activity. Because it is yours, the risk of allergy or rejection is minimal. PRF is the second generation: it is processed without anticoagulant and forms a fibrin mesh that releases those factors slowly and steadily for longer.

What it treats, in detail

Who it’s for

anyone seeking natural regeneration with their own blood; people with early-stage hair loss; and anyone who wants to improve their skin quality.

Who it’s not for

it is not suitable with coagulation or platelet disorders, active infection, certain blood or oncologic diseases, or if you take anticoagulants. In pregnancy we assess it separately.

What to expect

  1. 01

we usually do a series of 3 to 4 sessions, one a month, with maintenance.

  2. 02

The session includes the blood draw and application by injection or microneedling, with topical anesthesia.

  3. 03

Discomfort is low and there is no real downtime; if combined with microneedling, one or two days of redness.

Risks and what we tell you honestly

being your own blood, it is very safe; at most, bruising or tenderness in the area. And honestly: the big weakness of PRP is that there is no standardized protocol, results vary with how it is prepared, so it is not miraculous and works better combined, for example with minoxidil for hair. It does not reverse advanced baldness or replace a transplant. At Aryx we have several technologies that overlap and are complementary; in your consultation we define which suits you best or whether combining them is better.

Myth vs reality

Myth

“PRP grows new hair where I no longer have any.”

Reality

no. PRP strengthens and densifies the follicle that still exists and slows shedding, with its best evidence in early stages. Where there is no follicle left, it does not create a new one, and in that case we will tell you clearly in your consultation, along with the options that do apply to your case.

Book your consultation and we will define whether PRP is for your skin or your hair.
