LPG Endermologie in Mexico City

In the largest published study, 99% of patients reduced their circumference, by an average of nearly 3 centimeters per area.

What it is and how it works

LPG is a mechanical massage device with motorized rollers and suction that lifts and mobilizes your skin and the tissue beneath. That mechanical stimulation activates circulation and lymphatic drainage, helps release fat from its cells, stimulates fibroblasts and softens hardened tissue. In fact, this technology was created to soften scars, and from there moved into aesthetics.

What it treats, in detail

Who it’s for

anyone retaining fluid, anyone recovering from surgery, anyone wanting to slim measurements and improve firmness, and anyone with fibrosis or scars to soften.

Who it’s not for

we do not use it with active cancer, thrombosis, infection or an inflammatory flare, herpes, or if you take anticoagulants or have blood disorders. After recent cosmetic surgery, we need your surgeon’s clearance; and if you had injectables, we wait two weeks.

What to expect

  1. 01

it is done in a series, and the number of sessions depends on the goal: for cellulite and contour we usually do 10 to 15 sessions, starting with two per week; for drainage and retention, 6 to 10; and for post-surgical recovery, 5 to 10, starting shortly after surgery.

  2. 02

It is a pleasant session, like a firm massage, painless and with no downtime.

Risks and what we tell you honestly

it is very safe; at most some mild bruising from the suction. And honestly: in that same large study, the appearance of cellulite improved in only about 15% of women, and that effect is considered short-lived. So LPG is excellent for drainage, measurements and recovery, but it is not a cure for cellulite, and we will not sell it to you as one. In lymphedema, it is support within a comprehensive treatment, not the sole treatment.

Myth vs reality

Myth

“LPG eliminates cellulite.”

Reality

it improves the appearance modestly and temporarily. Where it truly shines is in drainage, inch loss and post-surgical recovery. If your goal is marked dimples, there are more definitive options, and we explain them in the consultation.
