What it is and how it works
QuantumRF is a minimally invasive device. Through a very small entry point, we introduce a thin cannula beneath your skin and deliver fractionated bipolar radiofrequency directly to the subdermal plane, where the supporting tissue is. That controlled heat contracts the tissue and triggers a repair cascade that produces new collagen, which truly tightens. What matters is that it works from within, reaching depths a surface device cannot, and without damaging the dermis, so the risk of pigmentation is low. We have cannulas of different gauges: fine ones for delicate areas such as face and neck, and larger ones for body areas.

Who it’s for
anyone with moderate laxity, more than a surface treatment can solve, but who does not yet want or need surgery. Also anyone who lost weight and has loose skin. Since it does not depend on pigment, it is safe on darker skin.
Who it’s not for
it is not for very advanced laxity with significant excess skin; there the honest answer is surgery, and we will tell you directly. Also not in pregnancy, with active infection or lesion in the area, with pacemakers or electronic implants, coagulation disorders, or with expectations of a surgical result without surgery.
What to expect

it is an outpatient, in-office procedure under local anesthesia: you do not need an operating room, general anesthesia or hospitalization.

It takes about an hour depending on the area and you go home the same day.

Most patients achieve their result in a single session, though sometimes a second is done.

There will be swelling, some bruising and tenderness the first days, with a compression garment depending on the area.

Risks and what we tell you honestly
there is real downtime, though far less than surgery: swelling, bruising, temporary firmness and passing numbness are expected. As with any procedure beneath the skin, there is a low risk of irregularities, seroma or burn if technique is not correct, which is why it is performed by an experienced physician with temperature monitoring.
