Chemical Peels and Anti-Aging Facials in Mexico City

The facial that actually corrects: it renews the skin at just the right depth to target spots, texture, fine lines and acne.

What it is and how it works

when the goal is not just to maintain but to correct, we move to chemical peels. We apply an acid solution that exfoliates the skin at a precise, controlled depth, which renews the surface and, depending on the depth, stimulates collagen in the dermis. We choose the acid and intensity for your skin and your goal: there are gentle peels (glycolic, salicylic, mandelic) for treatments with little or no downtime, and medium peels for a deeper change.

What it treats, in detail

Who it’s for

anyone who wants to correct spots, texture, lines or acne, not just maintain. With the right preparation, they can also be done safely on darker skin.

Who it’s not for

if there is herpes or active infection, recent isotretinoin, keloid tendency, pregnancy (depending on the acid) or recent tan. And a key point for your skin: on darker phototypes we go conservative, with superficial peels and prior preparation, because an aggressive peel on darker skin can leave marks.

What to expect

  1. 01

superficial peels are done in a series, every 2 to 4 weeks, and the first may feel underwhelming: the result is cumulative.

  2. 02

Downtime ranges from a few hours to a few days depending on depth.

  3. 03

On darker skin we prepare the skin beforehand (lighteners and sun protection) for a safe result.

  4. 04

    Strict sun care always.

Risks and what we tell you honestly

common effects are passing redness and peeling. The risk to watch, especially on darker skin, is hyperpigmentation if we are aggressive, which is why we go gradual and with preparation. We tell you plainly: on darker skin, conservative and in a series beats one strong peel. At Aryx we have several technologies that overlap and are complementary; in your consultation we define which suits you best or whether combining them is better.

Myth vs reality

Myth

“The stronger the peel and the more you flake, the better the result.”

Reality

no, and even less on darker skin. A peel that is too aggressive can leave marks or irritation. A good, safe result comes from choosing the right depth for your skin and doing it in a series, not from peeling to the max.
