What it is and how it works
Dermapen 4 is a microneedling pen that creates thousands of vertical microchannels in your skin, at the exact depth we need, from 0.5 to 3 millimeters. Your body responds to that microstimulus by repairing, and in that repair it produces new type I and III collagen and elastin. Those channels also let the actives we apply penetrate far better. Its technology self-adjusts speed and pressure, making it more comfortable and without dragging.

Who it’s not for
we do not use it with active acne or infection in the area, active herpes, keloid tendency, recent isotretinoin, or in pregnancy. With anticoagulants we proceed cautiously due to bruising.
What to expect

Risks and what we tell you honestly
effects are mild and passing, and unlike laser, it does not cause hyperpigmentation. Honestly: it is gradual and works by accumulating sessions; on deep scars it performs less than an ablative laser or than combining it with other techniques, and that is how we present it. We only apply products designed to be introduced into the skin, to avoid reactions. Reality
they are nothing alike. The medical pen works with sterile needles, at controlled depth and with vertical movement, which truly stimulates collagen without tearing the skin. A home roller tears, does not control depth and can cause infection or marks.
